Terms of Service
The agreement between you and MCPBytes when you use our website, console, API or MCP server.
Effective September 19, 2026
Who we are and what these terms cover
MCPBytes is operated by King Of The Hour, LLC ("MCPBytes", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service govern your use of mcpbytes.com, the console at console.mcpbytes.com, and the API and MCP server at api.mcpbytes.com (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm that you have the authority to do so. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
Credits, prices and changes to the Service
Jobs are paid with credits. A new account receives free credits once; they are for one person, so do not create extra accounts to receive them again. Each tool's price in credits, and the usage limits (for example model size and upload size), are listed on the pricing page and returned by the API. A job is charged when its input has been measured, before the work starts, and a job that fails is not charged.
Credits have no cash value, are not money or a stored-value account, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and can only be used for the Service. Free credits expire 12 months after they are granted. We may change prices in credits, features and limits, and we may stop granting free credits, at any time; a job already charged keeps its price. There is no service level agreement: jobs may be delayed or fail, and results may be unavailable.
Nothing is ever charged to a payment method for usage: you only pay when you choose to buy credits.
Buying credits
You can buy credits in the console. Purchases are sold through Link, a Stripe service that acts as the merchant of record: it takes the payment, adds and remits the taxes that apply where you are, and issues your receipt, under its own terms shown at checkout. Your card statement names Link. Prices are in US dollars. The price, the number of credits and these terms are shown before you pay.
- Credit packs are paid once. Their credits expire 12 months after the purchase.
- Monthly bundles renew automatically. You are charged the bundle's price when you subscribe and then every month, until you cancel. Each paid month adds the bundle's credits; unused credits roll over for one extra month and then expire. While a bundle is active, your account has the higher limits shown with it.
- Canceling. Cancel a monthly bundle at any time in the console, under Billing. It stays active until the end of the month you paid for, and you are not charged again. Credits you already received remain usable until they expire.
- Changing a bundle. A change takes effect for the credits of your next paid month. We will tell you in advance before we change the price of a bundle you subscribe to.
- All sales are final. We do not refund purchases or unused credits, except where the law requires it. If we refund a payment, the credits it bought are removed.
- Payment disputes. If a payment is disputed with the card issuer, we may put the account on hold and remove the credits that payment bought until the dispute is resolved. Please write to support@mcpbytes.com first: most problems are solved faster that way.
Your account and API keys
You sign in with your GitHub account or with a link sent to your email address. You are responsible for everything done with your account, your sign-in sessions and your API keys, including by AI agents and other tools you connect to the Service. Keep API keys secret; revoke a key in the console as soon as you think it has been exposed. One account per person: do not create extra accounts to get around limits.
Your content
"Your content" means the files you upload or have us fetch from a URL, and the output files the Service produces from them. You keep all rights to your content. You give us a limited license to store, copy, process and transmit it only as needed to run the Service for you: to process your jobs, deliver the results, keep the Service secure, and comply with the law. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit your content, including any URL you ask us to fetch. Input files are deleted within 2 days. Output files are available for 24 hours and then deleted, or earlier when you delete the job. Keep your own copies: we do not back up content.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that you have no right to use;
- upload malware, or files crafted to attack, escape or overload our processing systems;
- probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities, or get around its limits, authentication or isolation, except under a written agreement with us (report security issues to support@mcpbytes.com);
- disrupt the Service or place an unreasonable load on it, for example with request floods;
- use the Service to fetch URLs you are not allowed to access, or to attack other systems;
- resell or sublicense access to the Service itself, or share your API keys with others;
- use the Service in violation of any law, including export control and sanctions laws.
You may use the Service and its outputs in your own products and projects, including commercial ones.
Outputs
Outputs (part meshes, colliders, metadata, and estimates such as mass and inertia) are generated automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. Check them before relying on them, and do not rely on them where an error could cause injury, damage or legal harm.
Third-party services
Signing in with GitHub happens under GitHub's own terms. The AI agents and MCP clients you connect act on your behalf, and their providers' terms apply to them. We are not responsible for services we do not operate.
Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time, and ask us to delete your account by writing to support@mcpbytes.com. We may suspend or close accounts, revoke API keys, or cancel jobs if you break these terms, if your use creates a risk for the Service or for others, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will tell you why. The sections on your content, outputs, feedback, the disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law and general terms continue to apply after your account is closed.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service. Our total liability for all claims related to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify King Of The Hour, LLC against claims, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, or from your use of the Service in breach of these terms or the law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in the State of Washington have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or the Service, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Before starting a legal claim, please contact us at support@mcpbytes.com so that we can try to resolve it informally.
Changes and general terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version. For material changes, we will give notice on this site or in the console before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated terms.
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
